For example if 13 people completed the lovefilm offer, then Lovefilm would pay the site 'x' amount for each person, so 13x (13 times 'x').
In this way, once the initial visitor refers enough of their friends and family to complete offers, the site generates enough revunue from the sponsors to cover the cost of your free gift and the operation costs of the site.
